I can’t remember the media kissing our arses overnight after the takeover went through like, seem to remember it was quite the opposite, They might be kissing our arses a bit now but no more than they would be with Todd Bohely had Chelsea been romping away with the league having spent nearly three times a much as we have!

People seem to forget that week in week out nearly half of our starting 11 were there before Howe and our new owners. I actually don’t think Howe would want the England job. He goes out of his way to state that his approach is based on consistently improving the players through coaching - exactly what you don’t get the chance to do with England.

 

It's not a desirable job in the same way as a club. Especially a club that is the biggest project in world football right now and with a united fanbase that's bouncing off the walls.
