I actually agree with notdistant (that must be almost a first) with the Ward thing. I don't see this as anything but a bloke who has been given another chance to do what he considers is his bag. I didn't see the DofF thing for him as anything more than a stopping off before he got back on his old bike again. There is absolutely no surprise in his decision and it is not any sort of reflection on PAFC. I think you are a little OTT with your comments about Bristol Rovers plym and it is a tad disrepectful. They are a football league club and no bigger or smaller than our's. The days of Argyle playing Billy Big Bollux is gone for the time being. We were never that anyway and all we have ever achieved in our entire history is 2nd tier football and bouncing back and forward to that dizzy height. Potential is a word I've heard bandied about a lot. Well, we have had over 100 years to realise that potential and we are still trying currently from the bottom part of the football league. About time we achieved rather than just thinking we can or might.
Not sure what the problem is here-many people moaned when it was reported that he was going to be D o F. Now he isn't coming many people still moan......... Surely we don't have fans who will complain at whatever happens at the club...oh yes, we clearly do.
What you have on websites lyndhurst is one in pasoti which blows the trumpet for Argyle (or did) no matter what and another in ATD which pours cold water on anything to do with or done by the club. I had thought that Not606 was above that and judged everything on it's merits according to their opinion. I had no particular opinion on Ward one way or the other given we have never seen first hand the bloke and what he might bring or not bring. I have an opinion on what is rather than what might be. I think that's a legitimate stance to take rather than just decry all things or praise all things. PAFC is a disappointment to me currently in a lot of things sadly which means I moan more than rejoice.
