That’s what I am nervous about. They are losing and I think Putin knows. He’s now made a threat out of panic about nukes which he will have to follow up on if he wants to save face. This man will press the button if he feels he has no option. The question is where at and when.
He didnt threaten to use nukes. He put up the nuclear deterent because a few NATO nations have increased their involvement. He just reminded us he has them. He wont ever press that button, he likely doesnt even have the power too. Theyll just eventually sit down and sign a ****ty peace agreement and he will be forced out of government
no wonder they are getting a good kicking when civilians can walk up to an airfield and take video of the helicopters in the airfield they don't have any guards WTF
That’s what I said. Or meant. But the fact that he’s done that means he is in panic mode. And he definitely could press that button and he’s the one crazy enough to do so.
They/he expected the Ukraine to just let them walk in and roll over. The fact that they are retaliating and doing so well has possibly taken him by surprise. I think that Putin is in a zone he didn’t expect to be in. And I think he is in panic mode. Hence the “reminder” about the nukes he has.
I suspect what Welshie meant, and that I agree with, is that those around him would never allow him the access to it if he got to the point of using it. It isn't an actual button that just sits on his desk. He'd give the orders for others to launch them. At that point I think he's more likely to get a bullet in the head than have people carry out his orders.
I would love it if someone did put a bullet in his head. It is a reminder which in turn threat against the west go say look I have options. But I think his pants are around his ankles now.
If he gave an order to fire a nuke l, his generals will override it. One missile fired will trigger mutual annihilation. Everyone knows that. Fire an nuke and Russia gets wiped out (as well as most of the west) he knows he’s losing the battle at home and abroad. those vids posted above show his columns getting battered and apparently his troops running away. hes ****ed and he’s massively miscalculated what the world will do.
.........And now the EU has all of a sudden grown a set of balls, Russia now frozen from SWIFT and all russian owned aircraft private and public banned from EU airspace.
it will be difficult for them to fly anywhere West methinks. Fair play to them. Respect to Germany too. They led this turnaround. But the UK drove a lot of that change apparently.
