Yup and that plane would have had a full tank with a nine hour flight ahead. Absolutely terrifying, that pilot would have been saying his prayers. There was early talk that the pilot had put out a mayday, but a couple of pilots questioned that, because they said, why would you do that, they go you wouldn't because you need to gain control of the plane a mayday call is not going to save your life. Heard no more about that mayday call since, the media have wisely dropped the subject.

Had the same thing happen to me once... no explanation, nothing said over the intercom... we were close enough to the ground you could probably safely jump (if you had something soft to land on)- and then- back up we went... circled a few more times before landing.
My one was due to a storm that we had just flown into, it's like absolutely chucking it down, I'm looking out my passenger window thinking, you aint going to land in this bruv....then the roar of the engines and I'm like thank **** for that.

Tbph I haven't seen what Trumps got to say about it, my opinion is the opposite to yours though, I think Trump knows everything about it. Iran have been a concern for some time, and despite my hatred for sending people to war, I've said on here a few times that Iran need a slap...they sneak about in the shadows with their little agendas just getting their puppets to do the dirty deed for them, then they are the 'we know nothing'.
