Trump's new plan for Gaza revealed.

@PISKIE your water park doesn't stand a chance if the big corporations like Disney wade in.

Both sides have about 170-180 nuclear warheads.

Can't do too much damage with that can they? :bandit:

Tell you what has got my curiosity with that clip, it talks of a restaurant and market, I thought no food and water was getting through, and looking at a few of those guys in that picture, one guy is clearly bordering being overweight, must have been stealing all the rations.

So according to ChatGPT, fallout from nuclear war between India & Pakistan, besides the many regional deaths, experts predict a nuclear winter of about 1 to 2 C drop in temperature around the globe for a decade and 2 billion people would face famine. 10-20% drop in global grain yields.

Really... really... nasty... but honestly, I expected worse. Obviously hope (and expect) nothing like that to happen- that's such a populated part of the world, so many lives at risk.

    True.

We should be encouraging nuclear war between Pakistan and India. Depopulation and climate change sorted in a matter of hours.

Then people like Greta can go and get jobs.

    You seen this mate...

I know @Gessa said about the Iranian arrests on the crime thread. I've only just seen they were hours away from attacking the Israeli Embassy in London...

    https://www.standard.co.uk/news/cri...anian-terrorism-plot-met-police-b1226439.html

Yvette Cooper, the home secretary, called it one of the biggest counterterrorism operations in recent years.

Security Minister Dan Jarvis in an update on Tuesday the two operations that took place on Saturday were agaisnt some of the "largest counter state threats....we have seen in recent times".

In a statement to MPs, he said it would not be appropriate for the Government to "speculate on or comment further" on the motivations behind the cases that led to the arrests.

Irish national broadcaster RTÉ has asked the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) for a discussion on Israel's inclusion in the Eurovision Song Contest.

Token gesture done 1 week before the competition.

Could have aired these grievances months ago when Israel sent in their entry.

    European Broadcast Union.

Hence why Australia also attend Eurovision, their main channel is a part of the European TV networks.

The Israeli broadcaster and the Australian one have as much right to attend as the BBC.

strictly speaking it's not countries that attend Eurovision, it's the broadcaster.

They've only just realised the translation is 'Boom-bang-a-bang' ... in fairness, it was originally done by us ... but it's all about context <whistle>
