As a young kid, I remember having a big bible story book for kids, sort of A4 size, given to me by my Nan who died decades ago (don't know what happened to it). I remember some of the stories in it, such as the Adam and Eve, and the Ark etc. Never ever remember picturing what jesus was like though, don't think it ever crossed my mind.
It was Russia that downed the Azerbaijan plane... https://www.reuters.com/world/asia-...n-air-defence-system-four-sources-2024-12-26/
I guessed this was the case as soon as Russia released a statement about it. They only talk when they're guilty of something and don't want repercussions.

Israel just killed Mohamed Salah. Good thing Liverpool didn't offer him that new contract, would have been a waste of good ink.
Along with about 10 other innocent people including children in a tent camp for displaced families. Just another ordinary day for Israel’s killing machine.
The USA who are starting to be upset with Israel’s actions… The US Department of State has notified Congress of a planned $8bn (£6.4bn) arms sale to Israel, an American official has confirmed to the BBC. The weapons consignment, which needs approval from House and Senate committees, includes missiles, shells and other munitions. The move comes just over a fortnight before President Joe Biden leaves office. Washington has rejected calls to suspend military backing for Israel because of the number of civilians killed during the war in Gaza. In August, the US approved the sale of $20bn in fighter jets and other military equipment to Israel. The latest planned shipment contains air-to-air missiles, Hellfire missiles, artillery shells and bombs, the US official said. A source familiar with the sale told the BBC on Saturday: "The president has made clear Israel has a right to defend its citizens, consistent with international law and international humanitarian law, and to deter aggression from Iran and its proxy organisations. "We will continue to provide the capabilities necessary for Israel's defence." Biden has often described US support for Israel as iron-clad.
