I'd imagine the Americans outside of Trumps gang, could bring Musk down at anytime, they could just take a simple Chinese approach, throw him in jail and take control of all his assets, just accuse him of some bullshite conspiracy with China or Russia in his space race that was a threat to national security, then chuck him in a Guantanamo Bay style detention and not let him utter a single word ever again to the world, just say he slipped on the soap and took a very bad knock to the head.
