It's a staggering decision, to say the least. Hegseth looks like a guy who would play the role of def sec in a Michael Bay film, but in real life? He has zero real political experience and his views on most things are interesting to say the least. And he is now in practical command of the most powerful army on Earth.
I reckon Musk will start conducting en masse social science experiments, like flying thousands of people at a time to Mars with various equipment to see how long we can survive there.
Trump has gone full tonto, I can't see him stepping down in four years time and he's lining all his little crooked soldiers up, to keep him out of jail and to change the constitution.
Apparently Vince McMahon's wife Linda has been tapped by Trump to lead the Department of Commerce. Someone better tell Munse.
Zelenskky not happy, German chancellor telephoned Putin. Elections coming up in a years time I think in Germany and they rely on Russian oil, so no surprise really. I don't like wars, so let the warmongers stick themselves on the front line, if they wish to continue... https://edition.cnn.com/2024/11/15/...ssia-putin-call-ukraine-intl-latam/index.html
Much sooner than that. The coalition in Germany collapsed same day as Trump got back in, so they've been forced to call a snap election for February. That combined with Trump clearly stating he has no interest in spending more dollars on the Ukraine war and it's no wonder Zelensky is getting nervous.
Yeah I think we all knew Trump would never support the Ukraine campaign. I've never been in the Zelenskky club, but nor have I with the Netty one either, but I also realise that not everything is black and white in war.
