I don't disagree with any of that. I think for me it's the fact none of it makes any difference. Things like this should be a pivotal moment for our country to reflect on its position to end this madness. But we just talk our way through it and on we go.

Yeh I saw that. It was the point I was making to Ern in my previous post. Sunak will just talk his way through and nothing will happen. I remember the photo in the Vietnam War where a famous news reporter (Kronkite iirc) showed a picture of vietnamese girl running towards the camera burnt to the bone by napalm. And Nixon said it was that moment he knew the war was over. That won't happen here, so many are just immune to it now.
Whether people agree with them or not, regardless, I probably write more personal views that most on here. I can't say I have a dog in the Israel Palestine fight, but it's undeniable that the current actions of the Israeli state are barbaric. They're turning a land that has been inhabited for 100s of years into a smoldering wasteland of death and decay. I understand the other view from some, that Hamas and its backers will never stop until all Jews are gone. But as of this very moment, it's Israel that holds all the cards and they're using them to just blow the problem up If only we had £100bn @PINKIE perhaps we could do something Rebuild a water park or something
Getting IDF and Hamas fighters to share the thrills of a water flume together would go a long way to promoting a lasting peace.
