Yeah see my earlier post. We’d have hit them before the announcement come earlier. We tend not to give the opposition a heads up when we are going to attack them.
Suspect they'd have known it was coming anyway, they probably want this reaction as it'll make recruitment easier. Good job we have a stellar record in the ME lol
Aye it’s not the going in, the citizens tend not to mind that. We just have no plan to look after and protect these people once we’ve taken out the ‘bad guys’. Iraq is the perfect example. We were welcomed in by the vast majority and when the Saddam statue come down they were jubilant. We then offered no security to their economy, jobs, homes. Then the looting started, people’s businesses turned upside down and we just stood back and let it happen. That’s when they turned against us. Hopefully they’ve learned and we look after the Yemeni people. They’ve already been through far too much the past decade or however long it’s been going on… I highly doubt it, though, sadly.
Truth is it's simply impossible to allow this group to attack ships in one of the busiest sea lanes on earth. Its going to effect every single country if it's allowed to just go on, so this time, the US is probably right to do something about it. The original government that the Houthi rebels overthrew still have a presence in the country and could be placed back in control of the capital. The Houthi are rebels for a reason, they overthrew the government. Iran though, to be quite frank, are a root cause to a lot of violence in the ME and now even have beef with the Taliban.
What happens when you blow up the Ayatollah? That's the issue, there's nothing to replace him. I honestly think Iran's big military is a paper tiger and their weapon quality is ****, Israel bombs mainland Iran often. The issue is exactly what you said about Iraq, the **** do you do when it's all settled? It'll just be a mess. That's what keeps Iran alive
It's a mad world. Those not calling for a ceasefire in Gaza now scratching their heads when warmongerers do some warmongering they don't happen to like. What were ppl honestly expecting? This conflict is escalating and it will continue to do so. And we the UK are the suckers who will continue to hang out of the arse of the US every time they go in to some stupid fcked up Team America World Police type mission in the middle east. Seems we never learn. This will go on and on. All bcos the Israelis don't want to give up some land they stole and no one cba to find a political settlement.
Yeah, we seen when the Yanks took out that Iranian cockeyed general, Iran had absolutely nothing. They took it on the chin because they had too. If Iran was attacked properly by the Yanks, I don’t envisage them putting up much of a fight.
Oh right, I thought by that you’d been up all night on here with your hands full. I need to stop overthinking everything I read
I thought my mate Rishi might need some help, so all buttons were armed and ready, but the shhites started without me lol
Looks like Rishi is going down the route of a good old war to win some votes… The UK will give Ukraine a further £2.5bn in military support, Rishi Sunak has said - Britain's largest annual commitment since Russia's invasion. The PM made the announcement during a rare visit to Ukraine, where he will also sign a new agreement supporting Ukraine's long-term security. Officials said the package will provide Ukraine with long-range missiles, air defence and artillery shells. Some £200m will be spent on drones, most of which will be UK-made.
The ones who will get all the blame for this situ will be the US and UK cos that's an easy place to direct blame. Nothing new, easy to ignore. Who cares. The actual people who are to blame for this situation, however, is our stalwart, proud, "friends" in Saudi Arabia. They are on the border, deal with the most trade in that area and personally took on the responsibility of sorting Yemen out. But as Saudi Arabia is an empty desert, ruled by tubby used car salesmen, they gave up about half way through the job and decided it was better to do **** all instead. Now, they say "we are concerned." Well I'm concerned too, I'm concerned that 70 years ago, we decided to support you. You utterly useless bellends. The same ******s who petitioned the US for YEARS to enter Iraq. This is why we need to move away from oil as soon as humanly possible. The people running this industry are a ****ing nightmare to deal with. As soon as we don't need this oil anymore, let whoever they want to go in to that place and drive that royal family into the ocean.
Saudi Arabia calls for "restraint" and is monitoring the situation with "great concern." Saudi Arabia has been bombing Yemen since 2015 and has killed 20,000 Yemeni civilians. If slime took a human form, he'd probably be the King of Saudi Arabia ... Or Rishi Sunak please log in to view this image
The US and UK are an easy place to direct the blame because it happens to be true. Much like Iran is an easy place to lay the blame also. Iran is not the only cause of all the trouble in the ME either. Israel, the US, the UK and their proxies like Saudi and Bahrain are too. In Yemen, the houthis are armed and funded by Iran, the Saudis are being armed to the hilt by the US and UK. War crimes have been committed over the there. We should have had no part in it. The Saudis realised they were losing. They were trying to reach a negotiated settlement with the Houthis for the north and south of Yemen. They've been the ones trying to delay these airstrikes against the Houthis for that very reason. Lives could've been saved if peace was established. October 7th, the Israeli onslaught on Palestinians, Iran using the Houthis to attack shipping in the Red Sea, the lack of any pressure for a ceasefire in Gaza, and now these latest US and UK the poodle, airstrikes have put paid to that. This ****show will go on and on and get wider and wider. All bcos we're giving a free pass to nations we arm and support as much as Iran.
This all hinges on a premise that a group that holds disproportionate amount of the words number 1 recourse happen to be brainless powerless idiots who do as we tell them, when we tell them. But it's been proven plenty of times, this is a give and take relationship and these nations do have a level of responsibility for their area and themselves. Saudi Arabia started this conflict lol, because they elected a new Crown Prince and he was desperate to show his dick on the world stage. It was his project, he got bored and since then they have er lol been er "negotiating" as they always do for endless years. They're slimeballs, why do people constantly fall for their crocodile tears ****, every single conflict which their sausage fingers are involved in, people pretend they're not there. If they weren't so pure evil, I would give them some credit, it's genuinely impressive. Witless mong PMs like Sunak are the absolute perfect dart board for this stuff. It was the Saudi ambassador to the US who sat on the White House porch, smoking a cigar, chatting about the invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan. He says it himself in the documentary Fahrenheit 9/11.
