If I'm understanding earlier events today correctly, I think Labour and the Tory's have agreed on something that will prevent an immediate ceasefire, some Labour MP's have resigned as a result, I believe one is a female front bencher and a few others may defy Starmer.
There are two parts to this imo. Firstly, I'm sorry to say this demonstrates an example of Starmer's ability to jetison his own principles (he was a human rights lawyer ffs) for the sake of getting into power at any cost. Secondly it seems Labour has learned nothing after the antisemitism debacle when they tried to silence the jews within their party through coercion and pressure.
