It wasn’t long ago that Labour needing the SNP support to win an election was looking likely. The SNP would keep it simple. Give them an Indy ref and they’ll keep out of government affairs. I reckon Labour would have gone for that if they needed it.
The No vote would win another indy ref anyway. Even when all the momentum seemed to be heading towards Scottish independence, the SNP were spanked. A 10% majority of people voting to remain at a yes or no referendum is a massive majority lol. If you take US presidential elections for example, Barack Obama was a really popular candidate, the Republicans had a ****ing terrible 4 years under Bush and McCain ran a terrible campaign. Obama did not manage to get a 10% majority popular vote. The SNP are constantly trying to rewrite history with this referendum that it was close, it was not ****ing close at all.
