I feel obliged to point out that it has already been openly stated that no Nato troops are going to help Ukraine and the only intention is sanctions which may get blocked by the Germans due to their huge economic ties with Russia .
Oh and Russia has already invaded Ukraine though quite why Brezhenev assigned the Crimea to the Ukraine when it had traditionally been part of Russia is anyones guess .
