I just think that the incidence of 'self inflicted' destruction would be a lot worse if a third of those rockets were landing inside Gaza Seems a little convenient that it's being cited now, just as a hospital (which Israel has targeted before) has been obliterated. That said, I'm acutely aware of the propaganda on both sides at work.... so we will see / or not ....
We will never ever see Ever. I'll be long dead before this info is ever leaked or believed. If it was Hamas they will die with that info and Israel will keep it confidential in a Mossad file
BBC showing live pictures of babies and siblings on hospital beds covered in blood. Fcking hell, madness. I hope God, Allah, Jehovah wipes out every **** who's involved in the killing of innocents on all sides.
So we don't disagree then. Like I said I'm in agreement thar it's more likely than not it was the IDF, but as I said we should be careful as if it turns out not to be the propaganda will be switched up a notch and it will be made out that they aren't comitting any atrocities which we all know they are. You don't need to educate me on the behaviour of the IDF mate. I'm fully aware of their war crimes in recent days. Reading back and my last post was a tad harsh so apologies
While this blame game happens on TV there are children and babies dying in a hospital. There are teenagers and elderly being held hostage in underground tunnels There are people flooding to the borders huddled and terrified. This has to end
what utter bollocks... you don't have to 'hate Israel' to know that the airstrikes on the Southern 'safe zones' were by .... err... Israel ... for a start, Hamas don't have any planes ... ...be more accurate to say that those backing Israel will clutch at any available straw to give some benefit of the doubt ...
It never will mate. I don't see this ever being resolved in any of our lifetimes tbh. As I said the other day the Hamas attack last week has set the Palestinian cause back years if not decades imo.
You can see by the initial responses everyone is ****ting themselves to avoid any blame. The blast must have been massive to kill 500 if the previous bombing only killed 3. Aren't these hospitals running on generators? Possible they accidentally struck one?
Just putting the news on now, pretty shocking, regardless of who is to blame. Hopefully Biden can talk some sense into these idiots tomorrow, but I just can't see it.
Are you watching BBC News? The head of the Anglican Dioses who own the hospital just gave an interview and dropped a throwaway comment to the bloke in the studio that the hospital had to deal with a strike 4 days ago. And the studio guy did a double take and didn't have a clue. So everyone is clueless tbf. One thing I did hear earlier which was interesting, the newscaster said normally we get a lot of our verifications from mobile phone footage, but with no electricity most ppl's mobiles are dead or on low battery so very little phone footage.
Ask yourself this mate - if there was an explosion in an Israeli hospital next would you be as bullish that it might, conceivably, be anything other than a 'terrorist' incident? In contrast, my suspicions would be that it would be highly unlikely to be anything other than a terrorist incident ... I follow the same logic / suspicion in regard to Israeli actions in Palestine ...
I read this earlier. That the same hospital had been hit by an airstrike four days earlier when 5000 people were sheltering there. 4 injured then I know you have to be careful attributing responsibility, but it's already been targeted once before......
He wasn't making a point of it tbh. He was talking about the difficulties the medical staff are facing and how they're risking their lives, and now all the patients are having to be transferred to another hospital. And within that he said they'd had to deal with it 4 days earlier. I just found the studio guy's response funny because he went something like "wha, what? the hospital has been hit before?"
Maybe I have a dark sense of humour but just seen two things. CCTV of Palestinians in the West Bank running out rioting and a lone Palestinian Authority police jeep going round and round a water fountain while all the rioters are running everywhere. Israeli government phones Israeli embassy in Turkey and says, GTFO immediately.
More from Mark Regev, the senior adviser to the Israeli Prime Minister, who has told BBC News it is the belief of the Israeli authorities that a Hamas rocket was to blame for the blast at the Al Ahli hospital. "We know that at the time of this tragedy in Gaza, there was a huge barrage against targets in central Israel. We had the siren here in Tel Aviv, and I went to a bomb shelter," he said. "We know they fired rockets at that same time. Hamas put out a statement that they were sending a long-range rocket on Haifa [northern Israel] at this time." "Now no rocket actually reached Haifa. Where did that rocket go? Where did it land?" The BBC is working to verify what caused the blast at the Al Ahli hospital, which Palestinian authorities have blamed on the Israeli military. "I urge you to be cautious. There are very serious indications that it’s not us." "Hamas wants to have a propaganda victory, saying Israel has killed innocent civilians." "There’s no evidence to support that claim," Regev said. The Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) has denied Israeli suggestions it was responsible for a blast at the Al Ahli hospital in Gaza City, the Reuters news agency quotes the militant group as saying
Could have been a storage of arms hit to cause such a big explosion. Especially as the previous one seemed to be less severe as you point out.
I cannot get over these middle eastern responses. The Syrian Presidency said it's a horrific act against humanity. 306,887 died in the Syrian Civil war, in which Assad deployed chemical weapons against his own people. Saudi Arabia said this is an horrific crime against humanity 377,000+ people have died in the Saudi sponsored Yemeni Civil War. Russia have demanded an emergency UN Council, disgusted by the violence 10,000+ civilians have been killed in Ukraine since Russian illegally invaded. ****ing madness.
