How long can a people live without water?

The reason I ask, Eman Ashraf Alhaj Ali (a writer,journalist) claimed today she was in Gaza and had had no water for five days, I can only assume she's not chatting from the drinking perspective, because I didn't think it would be possible to survive that long without fluids, and she looked in very good health.

Now the same day I see you saying they do have water.

 

Also, wasn't it the case that Fatah and Hamas had come to an agreement to work with Israel on a peace settlement, but Israel wouldn't negotiate because of Hamas ?
