If China backs Russia and it puts sanctions in place for the UK pretty much everything we need stops. Everything I look at is made in China FFS.

I've never understood our trading with China, as much I've never understood 'some' of our trading with the EU. I believe we should be a self sufficient nation, where possible and pratical, especially in a decade when we are discussing climate change.
Is that the same propoganda that Blair used for Iraq, it's difficult often to know who to believe. I see it from both sides of the fence, I have as much distrust for the Brussels (EU) and Nato, as I would do for Putin. Don't forget, I never ever believed we would be allowed to leave the EU, we did, so it proved me wrong, but I still have a great distrust we will be forced back into it again, the hostilities in this country it caused, just goes to show how easy war or civilian unrest 'could' occur. That's not saying I don't support the Ukranian people and their decisions, I'm merely saying I trust neither side in the conflict of words.

The massive flaw is you are conflating two points that really have very little to do with each other, then youre saying that it's all the same and then tossing in the EU because you hate them. I'm merely pointing out to you mate, the EU has grown in strength since parts of the USSR were split off, and if Putin don't do as he's told, NATO will probably send in the bombs of peace. I just find it strange no one ever wants to see the bully boy tactics of European aggression backed up by the great US of A.
