Sounds like a cracking start by both teams. All-out attack and the ball on the ground. More chances in the first ten minutes than any game this season. A bit too evenly shared for my liking but at least the crowd are watching a proper game of football not this "grinding out a result" stuff.
Wish they would stop rabbitting ! As someone said a couple of weeks ago, its much better when the commentator is on his own - no idle chit-chat then.
'Twas I. But to be fair, ever since I wrote "great start" it has been stop/start and scrappy and nothing to commentate on.
Why would Steve Evans, Crawley manager, go to Rotherham who are 14 points below them? I thought Crawley were the ones with the money. That Matt Tubbs sale doesn't seem to have worked out well for anyone.
Theres something more gone on there Eddie, Evans was told to sell Tubbs and Bartlett? - feels that Rotherham offer more - somehow ?! NGuessan agaian - YES - 1-0
N'Guessan seems to have come good this game apart from his goal. Another good piece of recruitment by CP? Strange Hayes is not on the bench. If not in the present situation, then never. If Kermorgant has to come off at halftime we could have done with him. Looks like his career is over at Charlton.
How about Ledesma as a signing? Sounds like a Bradley Pritchard type, but three years younger and better ball-skills. Only question with him is stability. Never stays at one club more than half a season so maybe has some issues as he was shown the door by QPR and Brighton. But I think he is the main one hauling Walsall away from what looked like certain relegation.
Captain B, I've been away up the coast for the last couple of days, though I followed the Oldham game on here, it would'nt let me contribute. Surely your address is 14 Arnos Grove, 'Ring Top bell'!
Costa Brava mate. Nice place, nice weather, but nobody could understand me celebrating to goal against Oldham, so I reckon they're not too serious about football up there!
We are not comfortable. Chances both ends. I put that down to the absence of Holland or another defensive midfielder. Pritchard keeps popping up in attack and Stephens is not at his best defending.
Agree, beautiful place. My ex out-laws live in L'Escala, there are some nice (almost untrod by tourists) places such as Tamariu and Empurias yet most tourists by-pass it (literally) for Blanca and Del Sol.
