I judge people if they don't like dogs. What the **** is wrong with you? Dogs are amazing, all the ever do is love you and all they want in return is your love.

Eh? Nothing upset me, I was making a general point. I didn't mean you, I was talking about collective people who don't like dogs whereas it's clear from your post that you do like dogs.
You gotta love a Bassett. The problem you'll have there is when you walk him/her round town, you'll get stopped every five yards with people wanting to say hello. My Sisters Airedale must be the most photographed dog in York and the surrounding areas...

Yep, precisely that happens. She's verging on famous, people we've never seen before come up and say "oh this must be Edna, we've heard so much about her".
It get's tedious, but what can you do?
Basset hounds always look so sad. They say dogs look like their owners well in clement Freud case they were spot on.
I love all dogs and eavh and every one have different qualities.

I'm indifferent to dogs. My mum had a poodle, horrible little ****er, peed everywhere and bit everybody except my mum. Later on I looked after a friends 2 Rottweilers for about 6 months. That was fine, nice dogs as long as they liked you.
