Nope, nicked it off facebook. I'd have credited it but I doubt the person I nicked it from wrote it either.

It turns out that the Karaoke bar only has the Premier League package, so no internationals, it looks like a trip to Delaney's instead.

Because Capello is a ****e manager and it's his fault the England players basically couldnt be arsed? Seriously people think that? Rooneys comments to the camera walking off the pitch summed off those ****ers for me.

It would be nice to see someone like Nige (but not him, I wanna keep him) in charge of England, and I couldnt give a ****e if their english or not, its their attitude that counts. Someone who won't stand for lack of passion, someone who wont take any bullshit off any of the players who seem to forget what it should mean to pull on those 3 lions.

Beckham used to get some stick but whenever he pulled the shirt on, it always looked like it was the most awesome thing in the world to him and he played his heart out, like some others Pierce, Shearer etc. Arseholes like Rooney, Ferdinand, hell most of the current twats, shouldnt be allowed to pull a shirt on again.

    Ok rant over!

Beckham should be playing the same role for England as our own Nicky B plays tor us, bring him on at 60 minutes to gee up the players and put some passion on the pitch for the last half hour.
It's amazing what an experienced technically gifted player can do to a team when things aint going too well and confidence is starting to sag a bit

Actually I agree with this. Like Barmby Beckham COULD still do a job for England, and might just show some of the lazy ****ers what it should mean to pull that shirt on. I really do not believe though its confidence, I believe its because they're basically lazy, paid way more than they're worth, and carried by skillful foreign players in their club teams. They need their precious bubbles bursting, then smack til they realise whats actually reality.

I agree with both of you!
If I had a say in picking the National team it would be from players in the bottom half of the PL and the Championship, the lads at this level would relish pulling on their home nation shirts!!!

Sri Lanka battered us 230-no wicket. Tharanga got 102 and Dilshan got 108 with 21 extras. England looked poor all day to be fair with both ball and bat with the exception of Trott, who top scored with 86. They look a completely different side to that of the one that battered the Aussies in the Ashes. Suppose all that travelling is a massive factor. Still Test matches come first in priority in my book.

It's that old, so-near-but-yet-so-far syndrome that our National teams seem to suffer from!!

No thanks to Darren Bent who was put through twice by Wilshire only to be cumbersome on his run through and couldn't really be arsed to make the effort to challenge Hennessy for the ball. Two goals would have resulted if Defoe had been in that role and yet it is supposed to be the one thing Bent is good at.He is definitely useless with his back to goal or in tight triangle moves.

Laugh at me if you like but Kevin Nolan is a prime example of this.Against average International teams some of our performances have been laughable with some very uninspired performances coming from centre mid

Someone like Nolan or Osman from Everton would have relished every minute and put in a performance unlike some of the 'superstars' from the bigger clubs.

The name Jermaine Jenas springs to mind immediately, I'd rather have Dean Marney.

Even players like James Morrison ,who is now lost to the heathens, should have been looked at.In fact there's quite a few others out there as well.
