There is no doubt the decision was bollocks and Wales should of won.

France were crap in this game. I think Wales would have had a better shout in the final. (not that France cannot win it)

Commiseration to Wales. They played so well and had the ref not made that disgraceful decision to send the captain off, they would have won.

I don't often say this but I feel sorry for Wales, they were definitely the best team on the day. The outcome was spoiled by a diabolical decision by the referee, who has all aspects of the game available at his disposal via video. If he had used it I'm sure the second ref would have said yellow card at the worse. What I will also say Wales are now favourite for next years six nations.

Strange how a team who lost twice in their group can be in the final.

Very dangerous tackle. Red is appropriate.

Also, in the post match interview, one of the French players said "maybe it was already written it was going to happen". Not sure what he meant by this.

Incorrect. Yes he lifted him. But once he realised he was going to spear him if he carried on, he let go. Not a Red Card in a million years.

Probably me looking too much into the statement. Probably meant nothing by it.

It would have been interesting if the French player had been asked 'How would you feel if that decision had been given against you.'!!

It's annoying when decisions such as that are made in football but rugby always prides itself on being able to take time out and go to the 4th official and use video evidence so why did the referee not take that option?

It would have taken n o more than a couple of minutes. It was the semi-final of the Rubgy World Cup. The ref should have used common sense.

Are we suggesting Allain Pierre Rolland got it wrong ?

Personally I think whoever decided that a man with a French father should referee the game needs a kick in the arse. Can't help wondering if he had a backhander, he couldn't wait to send him off and should never be allowed to ref again ever.

I played the game to county standard ( U 19) and it was a spear tackle . Simple as that .

I'm English so to all intents and purposes couldn't give a flying **** .

Why do The English support other ' home nations ' including Eire when they detest everything we stand for ?

Fair enough it was a rather sweeping generalisation , bit like you saying I'm in the EDL .
