Pitch was awful, Andorrans were cloggers but we never adapted. There's no way 11 Andorran players and 9 of ours can fit in one half. We never sucked them out of position. Would have liked Coleman to put Bale on the wing for 20 minutes just to run at them, suck players out of the way and make space for others. Unfortunately he remained down the middle where all the congestion was.

Great free kick and glad we go the three points. Who's next?

I don't blame Coleman for trying something different given his limited options across the back.
Shame he hadn't picked Jazz Richards who would have fitted in well.
I know I'm going to get hammered on here by his supporters but once again Taylor has shown himself up as more than a bit of a liability.
Given Davies' greater ability to get forward and be a goal threat, and given how little Andorra offered in attack, I'd have pushed Ben forward and Taylor back.

Bob, I agree Taylor is prone to moments of madness IMO. I actually thought he looked better in our last game, but am always waiting for him to do something silly. Thats what he does.

Where I dont agree with you is about Coleman. I know the pitch was ****, but the bloke is a ****ing bufoon and is only manager as he is cheap. We have the best crop of players we have had in a long time but, unfortunately we have a clown in charge who is incapable of getting the best out of them. I dont make that assumption on last nigts game but what I have watched since he has been in charge. If Wales want the best out of very good players they need someone in charge who can get them playing.

They were where they were, as we were playing as a 3 at the back. Ben can cope at centre-back, but Taylor is just a full-back. So that's why Ben was not utilised for his attacking attributes. Saying that he supplied the sweet cross for Bale's first...

Couple of points Bob .... Taylor couldn't have played in the 3 at the back setup the same way Davies did. Agree with you Jazz would have played the left wing back role far better than Taylor.

So Ironic ... Coleman throws three defenders together in 3 at the back setup for the first time and although it was only against Andorra, I think they looked like they had a clue, which is more than I can say for United's back line under LVG.

Agree, Yankee, but to be fair, Chester plays in aback three every week, Williams is ideal for that central role and Davies is perfect for that spot as well, so I may be giving Coleman too much credit and, as you say, was only against Andorra, but it seemed a fairly sensible decision.

Only issue I had with it was Wales don't have the wingbacks to make use of it.
