If he works on his final ball he really could do some serious damage!

I don't think it's that surprising it's taken Walcott a while to develop (and still developing of course)
He's had lots of injuries and has had to learn to ply his trade is short patches at a young age in a top quality team, not easy.
But now he's had two or three complete seasons he's really beginning to show what a player he will still become.
When he's got his shooting boots on, he is a deadly finisher too.

His final ball is pretty damn good, not perfect but it certainly isnt where he is most weak.

What he needs to improve on, is his decision making when he has tonnes of time, when he doesn't have time to think you see Walcott delivering and scoring some great goals. With more time to make a decision we often see Theo make a mess of it to some extent.

Townsend is just an idiot. It's better to just not listen to him, as an empty chair would give more insight into the game or have better opinions.
I think he's a bigger idiot than Redknapp.

he has to descend from 'Turnip' Townsend who started crop rotation. Lets face it THIS turnip rotates the same tired clichés.

  9. I remember Arsene Wenger saying back around 2005 to RvP after a match that now he had to turn on the magic consistently, that it wasn't enough to have a few good games and then have this punctuated by some mediocre ones. RvP has certainly risen to the occasion and I think that's something Theo has to do as well. I've marvelled at his pace, skill, determination and team spirit. To date he has been the only player I know who has got up after falling and either scored or provided an assist after that. I wish he could do turn on the magic more consistently. Perhaps playing him as a striker could be a revelation.

He played really well today. The way he went round the defender and crossed for the equaliser was impressive. Infact, his crossing has improved drastically recently, even for England.

Walcott will be a late developer.

At 25-26 we will see the him score far more regularly.

His delivery has already improved massively.

He just needs to work on his first touch and learn when to arrive in the box. Walcott should be watching Villa, Messi, Ronaldo those guys who play in the same position as himeself yet managed 25+ goals a Season.

I thought Walcott was superb today as well.

Keeping him will be as important as keeping RVP.
