People are ALWAYS to quick to judge a player going through a bad run of form. If you consider a strikers best years are generally between 27-32 then its safe to assume that Torres has a good chance of returning to his best. I happen to think Wenger would bring out the best in him. I highly doubt we would even attempt to buy him though - afterall Chelsea did spend £50 million. Really not gonna happen.
Torres was one of the best stikers around during his Liverpool days, he was simply unplayable. Anyone who could roast Vidic in his prime, gets maximum respect from me. However, after many injuries, he has lost that agility and pace that made him so dangerous. I'd rather we keep Walcott. He is still fresh, had little injury, motivated, smart and has yet to reach his peak. He is only 23 and has at least another 5 years left until we see him show any physical signs of degradation. We've kept him for this long and he's proving his worth, the only way is up for Walcott whereas Torres is going steadily down.....
