I really dont get the deal with knocking players for no reason whatsoever.

So he's actually trying when he plays with the reserves. Wow.

What do you want from a NUFC player whos not automatically gaurunteed a place in the starting 11? The same style attitude as Alan Smith? Sit around on big wages and not even attempt to get into the reserves?

Yes, I agree, but he isn't playing in the reserves because he wants to impress, its simply because he isn't getting minutes and needs to keep his match fitness up, he prob wouldn't if he didn't have too.

I like Lovenkrands and fully appreciate the goals he has scored for us (mainly Champ season), but I like in the same way I like Guthrie and liked Wayne Routledge - not good enough anymore and should be sold

Being serious I would rank our strikers as:

    1 Ba
    2 Best
    3 Lovenkrands
    4 Ameobi
    5 Youngsters

Nile Ranger should not be ever considered to wear black and white top again. The lad is a disgrace!

    My personal order would be:

    1. Ba
    2. Best
    3. Sammy
    4. The soiled rag that beat Perch in the 'James Perch or a soiled rag?' poll
    5. James Perch
    6. Shola
    7. Lovenkrands

    My order:

    1. Best and Ba (both as good as each other, and forming an ace partnership)
    3. Lover
    4. Sammy (although I see him as the back-up to HBA in the free-role)
    5. Airey
    6. Donaldson
    7. JJ Hooper
    8. Pardew
    9. Steve Harper
    10. Asamoah Gyan
    11. Andy Carroll
    12. Me
    13. Tash
    14. Toni Ameobi
    15. Perch
    16. Shola
    17. Shola's spectre (in somone's sig, posted by Pipe)
    18. Ranger cell-mate
    19. Everyone else in the world...

    about 6,800,000,000. Ranger

He does seem to be getting on the bench ahead of some of our younger strikers though - surely this is a mistake by Pardew?

WHat the **** get off of Lovenkrands dick

He has a great scoring record for us and gets his fair share of assists as well. He's a positive character to have in the dressing room and is a professional

As it has been stated in this thread, he knows his position in the pecking order. Fortunately for him the injury rate is so high at st. james' park that he's almost assured a dozen appearances before the season ends
