25 goals and it's only january, clearly starting to fulfil some of the potential that made Leicester shell out £3 million for him, though admittedly at a poor level up there.
By scoring against players who would struggle to get a game at Gateshead? He's also scored 9 penalties. If he wants to prove himself he should try and sign for a team in the Championship. He won't be able to though because he's not good enough for the English league. He's getting way to much credit on here. He's horse ****.
No denying that he's at a poor level up there but he's still bagged 25 goals by this point in the season which is a great record regardless of league, if this was an english league one striker (probably a fair comparison in terms of level) with this record he'd be interesting decent championship and even premiership clubs with that sort of record. If he's scored 9 penalties it just tells you he's a reliable penalty taker, they all count at the end of the day mate. I'm not saying he's a great striker that will score tons in the prem, championship or even the SPL but he is starting to look like he could possibly be worth £3 million and is capable of bagging a few certainly in the championship and SPL. Why can't we give an ex player produced by the academy a little bit of credit for doing well at his current level rather than disregarding his achievements and writing him off as ****.
http://www.shoot.co.uk/reading-and-sheffield-wednesday-eye-25-goal-former-premier-league-striker/? Apparently 2 championship clubs after him
We can, and, you are I'm not going to change my opinion of him just because he's ex-academy. I never rated the lad one bit when he was here and comparing the Scottish Championship to league one is extremely generous on your part.
Fair enough mate, this place would be pretty dull if we all had the same opinions and maybe I'm being a little generous comparing the two leagues, I'm certainly not going to claim to be an expert on the scottish championship or league one for that matter.
True but could have used very similar arguments about SKP ,Vardy - that's trouble with fooball &life need to be in right place at right time - let's hope Sunderland are in right (better ?)place after tonight - 3pts required
No, you couldn't. SKP and Vardy succeeded when giving the chance in the premier league. You could also see they were good players when they played, can't say the same about Waghorn, he looked ****.
Yea but SKP and Vardy were older and more experienced in the game - but no more diasagreements from me - a case of well done to one of our academy players for doing well in the game - my concern is Sunderland AFC - 4 pts needed from next 2 games imo or its really dodgy time please log in to view this image
