if you do get him- play him and he will be class.

if you dont play him, he loses pace.

I don't think Sven will let him go before we have a new striker in so this sounds promising for all parties!

Waghorn depends on confidence so, so much.

If you play him, stick with him. He will start to score goals.

One thing though, don't let him take freekicks. <doh>

Sven said he was staying for now but they may change. Nearly all our targets have gone elsewhere and according to rumours we are set to make a 6.5M bid for Nicky Maynard. Waghorn will be surplus to requirements if we get Maynard

i think he must be off. No other explanation really. Particularly with the emergence of schlupp.

quality player but will need games to get himself back to his standard.

maybe it could be a loan?

You can have Maynard! Well overpriced for a player on the last year on his contract. £6.5million!? Bristol ****y are having a bubble!

Oh and don't worry about free-kicks! Southampton Goal Machine Rickie Lambert is the only way to go.

    We have Gally for them

Maynard is worth about 5M without the contract running down and his injury past but we are desperate and he is the final peice to our jigsaw. We just lack that striker and results will start to come our way

If you want him enough, you'll get him I think. £1.5-2m should be enough.

He has the potential to be a top player in this league but it will never happen here. He's had so much pressure on his shoulders since his permanent move and this is not the right environment for him. We are desperate to get up whereas you guys, having just been promoted, will not be under so much pressure, and probably won't be so low down in the pecking order.

He's very quick, the fastest player in our squad, at least before this season. He's got great upper body strength for a short lad as well. His first touch differs depending on his confidence - when he first came to us on loan it was top class, now he can trap it further than I can kick it sometimes. He's not a natural finisher but can score goals, and best of all can make chances for himself.

Play him through the centre for a number of games and I'm convinced he'll prove himself. Just don't put him in a situation where he needs to prove himself in 5-10 minute spells, he'll snatch at everything that comes his way and it won't get the best out of him.

I'd be delighted with Waghorn if the fee is in the region of 1.5 mil, rather than the 5 mil + quoted for Maynard and Rodriguez. He's only 21, British and has plenty of time to improve. Most Leicester fans obviously rate him highly from previous seasons but seems to have lost his way a little bit. A new change of scenery might help him recapture his form.

i hope its a january loan.

if not, youve got a good player, but MUST be patient at first whilst he gets rid of his rustiness.

I thinks its best we just let Waggy go. I would like to keep him and loan him out but I dont think he will ever get a chance up front with Sven.

I suppose Press will ask Sven after the game today if he wasn't in the squad because he coming down here or not?

No one has made a bid for Waghorn yet just enquiries. Andrew Neville said that and he is the person who deals with contracts and transfers for us
