Wood´s going to start to banging them in again left, right & centre you´ll see .......... but you didn´t hear that here OK.
We've got James Henry to hit row z,were used to it , no doubt Leicester will be the winner if he regains form and I have a funny feeling he will along with the price
Think you will enjoy him. When he is good he is bloody excellent. When he is not good, he will still sweat blood.
I think Waggy will provide the tenacity and energy Millwall fans like to see in their players. I'll become a fave in his time there I'm sure... just don't expect too many goals from him.
How much is he on FFS? He's taking a big pay cut (waiving his appearance fee) and Leicester are still subsidizing some of his wages to meet our pay structure!! Why do Championsjip clubs pay players these ridiculous wages (Sven's doing no doubt)
Waggy was signed when Milan Mandaric was in charge, nothing to do with Sven. His wages are average championship wages, just you lot cant afford much
You love the old wages angle TC but before FFP Championship clubs were paying exorbitant wages in order to attract players who otherwise might not have come in what was seen as a calculated gamble to reach the promised land ... there is also a certain irony that some players now won't move clubs, even for better playing standards because they have secured such wages - Kevin Doyle seems content to stay playing L1 football at Wolves and continue collecting his £40 grand a week rather than join us! (don't rate him personally have to say) and how Jamie O'Hara ever warranted £40 grand a week is well beyond me .. but that's the reality buddy.
Regardless of over paying or not Leicester City can afford higher wages then Millwall even when both clubs stay within their means So TC bringing up we overspend because they cant compete is slightly tedious
... and what's more it has no chance of being accepted by the Premier League in its' current form ... so what it has inadvertently achieved is to make it incredibly difficult to get out of the Championship for any team not benefitting from Prem parachute payments ... those getting the parachute payments now have even more of an advantage because, unlike the rest of us, their spending is not directly linked to, or dependent on, their 'normal' income generation activities ...
nb Proud - Your wages to turnover for 2011/12 was 130% compared to our 40% (because you can afford it)
What I want to know is, the fat bald bloke who ran onto the pitch..was it the geezer? waggy can get his confidence back under no pressure playing in front of no fans...perfic
