Just had a quick look on the Leicester board/forum to see if any of their fans had made any posts on Waghorn.... Not One !!! Think that says it all, they dont care about him, nor want him back is how I interpret things.
it would not surprise me to learn that city have already done a deal for waggy to become a full time tiger in jan. from his body language and comments waggy loves it here and does not want to return to svens mercenaries.
There have been two posts on the Leicester board all day today(both by the same person). I interpret that to mean, there's no ****er on the Leicester board today.
westhulltiger, I'm with you on that matey. Tickler, I really hope so too bud. Really like Waggy. I think if I'm honest though the Allam's should have coughed up the money to buy him in the first instance when it became common knowledge Sven did not have Waggy in his plans and Sven told clubs to come and take Waggy off his hand permanently or on loan. If I remember rightly I think Sven wanted 1 million for Waggy which I think is a steal for a player of his quality and prospect. Who's to say Sven wont keep him now after taking care of his injury at Leicester and refuses to loan him back out at all let alone sell him.
I can't see Waggy been part of their plans either, Sven seems to have the players he wants to have a tilt at the top 2, if Waggy was part of his plans he'd still be at Leicester imo. Thye also seem to be finding some form too, making it even more difficult for Waggy to get back into their plans. All the better for us of course! (aside from Leicester gaining form)
Martyn Waghorn has returned to the club for treatment on the hamstring injury he picked up whilst on international duty with the England U-21s. The on-loan forward suffered the setback in the 63rd minute of the young Three Lions' 3-0 victory over Iceland on Thursday night and was assessed by the club's medical staff earlier today. "It's an injury to his left hamstring," said Chris Burton, the club's Head of Medical Services. "The early signs are promising and that it isn't as bad as first feared. However, at this stage, it's impossible to put a timescale on the injury. "He'll receive further treatment over the weekend and we'll reassess things on Monday morning." Straight from the OWS
sounds good news so far and better than what some were saying on here. better to wait and see until next week for more news before pressing any panic buttons eh ? off topic....but spare a thought for Kieron Dyer who will be out long term again after breaking down in training. Yet another setback for the lad. Shame as KD is quality when he plays.
