Amazing ride by the jockey to steal up the inside Cyc - must have saved her a dozen lengths and the gap opened up like the red sea. They way she went past Jimmy Choux made him look like he was standing still, although he may well have been a tired horse on the retreat.

Was it you Oddy who spoke about horses crapping before a race? If so you might have noticed that the favourite Helmet let go big time, behind the starting stalls. It looked like soup. If I crapped like that, I'd go and lie down for a couple of days. <laugh>

Not me mate but I do remember someone posting it. I've been down with the flu all week and it's been coming out of me in all shapes and sizes <yikes>

I was talking to a bloke back in England the other night who used to have a few greyhounds. Told me a surefire way to get a dog beat that could never be detected. Don't give it any water for 24hrs before the race, then 30 minutes before the off let it drink its fill. Will never win with all that water sloshing around in its guts but will pass every dope test.

Cyc: Slept in, so only just looked at video rerun. Nice ride by the jockey on Pinker Pinker? Went to the fence, found the gap at the right time entering the stretch, and bob's your uncle. You did say "chance at 20-1"...<ok>
