He’s well know for his knee jerk remarks when he has been made to look a berk hence the new name for him is KneeJerkBerk.
Harry Maguire was majestic for us today ... still got some rough edges and makes the odd mistake for sure, but is learning and at £17 million looks a sound investment at today's crazy prices ... not convinced that VVD will be the same for 'Pool at that price ... but will be interesting to see his impact ... I saw Rio Ferdinand's debut for Leeds at ours during the Martin O'Neil era ... we beat them 3-0 and Gerry Taggart scored two with his head from set pieces ... Rio was absolute pants ... but he didn't do too badly in the end, I'm told?
The way Liverpool fans react every time Pogba plays anything less than brilliant, I think it's only fair that they get a **** load of grief every time they fail to keep a clean sheet or VVD gets tackled or doesn't win a header.
Lindelof has improved recently, not to the point where I'd call him good but I'm less worried about him than I was initially. We miss Eric Bailly a lot though, he was a steal at £30m in today's prices.
Bailly is class. Proper bruiser... rivalry aside him and a baller like VVD would make a great partnership. The new age Vidic and Ferdinand.
Now you know how the scouse fans feel when lovren isn't scoring any ogs or moreno isn't giving away any pens.
Good idea I just ended up in the saints vvd thread by mistake, I knew it was the wrong one cos it's about 30pages of posts like: I hope he breaks his leg.... **** Liverpool..... I hate life..... Not the happiest bunch
