Vuckic - Whats everyones thoughts?

I don't think the Ameobi brand is particularly an advantage in winning the confidence of the faithful.

last season Sammy was speed, enthusiasm and not much to go with it - - kind of a more likeable Obertan. In pre-season so far he has looked to have added a few tricks and a bt of composure to the speed and enthusiasm. It isn't world beating form, but it has changed my opinion from half empty to half full.

 

I haven't been able to see much of pre-season so I don't know how good Sammy has looked. Last season he did get a free ride from the crowd though. Shola is a cult figure, a fairly likeable guy, and someone a lot of fans like to have around the club even though we all know he's ****, and Sammy got a share of that following simply because they're related. If his name was 'Sammy Smith' then he wouldn't have had anywhere near the level of support he has. He was miles below Obertan's level, and was probably League One quality at best.
