I've said since the rule was introduced that it'll cause a serious injury one day.
Tight game, thought we just about deserved that. Our passing was appalling sometimes

All wolves crosses at the end. A few sixes and sevens there.
They really have not much other weapon and when traore was needed he put in anywhere bit a team mates head.
They just lack something to play a ball in. They should have scored at least twice off overloads first half and really cocked it up.
Needed 3 points and took 3 points in the end. Kabak is growing into the job weekly, big improvement on first couple of games.
Hes gone from being done ball watching to sweeping up behind the big man.

Thought Kabak was excellent today. TAA was very good defensively as was Robbo.
Looked ok going forward. Created some decent half chances. Still no where near best but win 2/3 on the bounce and suddenly were close to chelsea.
5 points now, way everyone is dropping points could easily become 1/2 points over the next 3 or 4 games and suddenly things look brighter.

Back to back wins. Back to back clean sheets with defenders in defence. Who’d have thought.
little international break.. see if it’s good or bad timing after the arsenal game. Hopefully have Bobby back by then and no new injuries.

Mo was obviously off, the linesman has already decided he's off but delays the flag because he's been instructed to do so. If the whistle blows Mo will probably follow through but there's no need for Coady to lunge at it. Even if this incident was unavoidable there will be others where it is not.
It's a stupid ****ing rule and I've said this all along. Players risking serious injury because of the obsession with fractions of an inch in offside decisions.
The people who devise the rules are brainless.

Plus points
Front 3 looked fantastic at times, linked up really well, movement in general much improved
Centre backs really solid, kabak impresses me again.
To a lesser extent I thought chamberlain did very well when he came in, looked quick solid and determined.
Negatives
It would help if we could pass a ball to another player in red, thiago I'm looking at you.
Catch the ball Alison, we coukd really do with you instilling a sense of calm into the defence rather than jittering.

There was one in the first half, they played the ball through and it went towards the corner before the line flagged. Really didn't see the point
Kabak and Phillips are developing an understanding. Early days yet for them as a pair but hopefully they'll see us to the end of the season.

Easily Thiago's worst game for us tonight. His passing (his obviously main strength) was way off
An off day with his passing, but he's never had an on day with his tackling imo.
I had high hopes for him at the start of the season, the quality is there for all to see - I don't know if it's just the pace of this league, but I can see him picking up a red before long.
I think we just have to be happy with the points that we maybe just about deserved. We'll need a run of similarly ground-out results before the confidence comes back.
Some strange decision making from Alisson, I agree. Perhaps his head still isn't quite right.

They had less clear cut stuff, mostly as they failed to get a good shot but they were in the game.
Yes wolves midfield passed it a lot better than our lot but in the end a vital 3 points.
10 behind leicester. Imo that who we have to over haul. Yes its 5 behind chelsea but I cant see chelsea losing many given what touches has done.
If we apply pressure (difficult) I think leicester will crack. They really have no excuse from here but we will see.

True about Alisson, can't be easy, certainly not something you can just shrug off.
If I look at the game as a whole I'm the usual happy boy, it's just niggles really;
thiago hasn't been great, but his passing was absolutely gash tonight.
I thought coming toward the end fabinho started to look panicky launching the ball forward when there was no need.
Mane looking really bright but descion making at times was ridiculous.
Robertson although very good defensively was poor going forward, i can make allowance that he was concentrating on trade.
Just odd things that you wouldn't expect really.
TBH it was expected that we would win tonight. Not because we are on our top game again, mostly because wolves have a mediocre front line and without Jimenez have lost their cutting edge. Once we scored then there was little risk of them coming back despite them having several chances.
