You thank the fans by applauding them, not holding hands and throwing them in the air like you have just won a trophy <doh>

It was something out of the Brendan Rodgers book of Scouse management. I think most new managers at LFC have got it sussed and know you need to suck up to the fans and join the sychophantic nature of the club. They all do it... Dalglish, Rafa. Rodgers went full ******, but Klopp doesn't seem far behind. Cringeworthy claptrap What next, all hold hands and sing Kumba Ya M'lord when you manage 2 weeks above 10th spot?

Most decent teams applaud

The guy is emotional, fair enough. But he should keep it in check until he has something to get excited about

How very British of you....he's German mate, they get excited by an empty sunlounger.....I don't mind him being a bit overanimated but I accept it'll lead to a touch of wumming after a home draw with West Brom <ok>

I've noticed MITO is doing a classic 'I rate the player so he can do no wrong' when it comes to Benteke. Perfect example is against Arsenal at the start of the season. We should've been out of sight if we had a good striker, he was so wasteful and it isn't a one off.

If Daniel Sturridge wasn't missing the game with a split end that would have been 3 points. You can't sit back like that and not get published if the team had a quality striker.

There are several positions we could definitely improve but #1 is a proper goal creating and goal scoring striker. A new Daniel Sturridge. One that doesn't miss a game because of an itchy bum when he doesn't wipe well.

We can't keep wasting time with Drudge... He may go elsewhere and pinkish us but that's a risk we have to take. Benteke doesn't work for us. Origi is still young and not the full article. Ings is good but broken.

#1 priority a GOOD striker.

Didn't see any of the game. Sh!t result, but how did we play? I assume Benteke was crap as per?
Klopp sounded frustrated at the way West Brom played, but he will have to get used to that in this league. Great to see him urge the crowd on and get the players to thank the crowd at the end, very Dortmund like.

I don't think we should panic tbh, yes there's been games especially recently that have shown we are (at the moment) short up front. We can take into consideration ings (who imo is that striker you speak of, Fox in the box type) also the fact that we wasted time and money on Balotelli, sturridges ongoing fitness issues, also that benteke and klopp have yet to find a common solution to getting the best out of him without it being detrimental to the team.
I really doubt we will get a out and out striker in January, perhaps a forward who can play anywhere behind a lone striker, as that definitely looks to be Klopp's preference playing one up front.

What I would like to see and think it so overdue it's painful is replacing our Co's.
Skrtel, Lovren and kolo all need to be gone. Sakho needs someone closer or better than his level than the liability that is skrtel, gomez looked very promising before his injury and hopefully he can come back and continue to progress but for now we really need to sort that particular position out, especially now Lovren is crocked again.

What I take comfort in is that klopp has already shown that he is adaptable in his tactics and ability to set us up against certain sides but the fact is he does not have the correct personnel at the moment to have full impact in certain circumstances but I honestly can't see us doing much in Jan if anything at all.

For me, it was actually a decent performance. We attacked, dominated and created some good chances. We just let ourself down with individual errors at set pieces.

I think West Brom only had 2 shots on target but scored from them. Across the last 2 games, we've conceded 4 goals from 3 shots on target lol which shows that we're restricting teams from creating chances but when they do, they punish us.

Benteke was **** and whilst his presence hinders those around him, the result wasn't or (shouldn't be down to him). We shouldn't need 3 goals to beat West Brom.

Whilst we do need a top quality striker who is fully fit most weeks, the bigger problem is GK and Cb's.

We spent £32.5m on a striker this season who has made little impact - but yet, we've scored quite a few goals under Klopp. Changing the system is what allowed us to score more goals, not simply buying a striker who can score goals.

Now, we do need to score more but we are still scoring nonetheless. We need to cut out the stupid mistakes at the back so that we're able to hold onto leads.

Over the next two windows, I hope we go for a GK, CB, CM and a pacey attacking mid at least.

He only wanted to thank the fans for staying behind and contributing to the last gasp goal through their vocal support <ok>

What is worrying is that teams are starting to suss our system out. They will come and defend in depth and match us with physicality. It is not coincidence that the teams we did best against were City, Chelsea. Teams who will have a go.

If teams defend in depth and focus on set pieces, we are in trouble. He's almost admitted to that in the way he spoke about WBA. He'd better get used to it <ok>

But the thing is, we actually did have the answers to playing against a deep line. We scored 2 goals, and Lallana should have buried his. Coutinho had a great chance in the first half as well.

When I saw the thank you to the fans at the end I knew it would cause some rival fans to turn up here. It was a great idea from a man who understands that our club is in need of a lift, the fans have to believe we can get back into games Klopp was thanking those who stayed to the end and who got the reward for that faith.

From what I can see we didn't play badly but need to be more ruthless 28 shots to 4, we have to get more goals from those attempts.

I know why he did it mate, like I said I quite like it and it went down well at the ground yesterday whatever the bitter mancs/blues say...(no doubt helped by a late equaliser <laugh>).

Klopp's complaint is a strange one born of frustration I feel. He might be new but I'm amazed he seemed surprised by a Pullis team playing tough, long ball footy and only threatening from set pieces.....welcome to English football JK. Now you know why it really is a tough, tough league. You can put out teams that will outwork the prima donna's of City and Chelsea but you'll be hard pressed (pun intended) to work more and fight more than a team like West Brom. You need to out think them too.

We didn't play badly yesterday but we were scared of them. We were all over the place from set pieces and we suffered from individual mistakes and a collective lack of belief in defence and attack. Not a disaster but certainly a lesson for Klopp to learn.

On a side note....Ming needs to be shoved in the corner with the dunces hat this morning and Origi deserves a gold star for determination for getting back to his feet.

Edit....on second thoughts....putting Ming anywhere near a corner might not be such a good idea.

Not a great game that yesterday, I lost count of how many times Benteke was in space in the area, our only forward with any real strength, and was left standing there with his hands out while the others took on stupid shots. Coutinho could have put him in twice yesterday, he got **** all from anyone. Awful, his only real use is getting the ball to him otherwise he might as well sit on the bench ffs.

Coutinho wastes so many good positions because of being a greedy ****, and the others were doing it yet again, get your ****ing heads up lads and stop seeing ****ing glory every time you get within 20 yards of the goal.

We did not play as a team, and the honeymoon period is over and the individual egos are back after a brief hiatus when the Klopp honeymoon began.

Can tho, what a player. Gonna be great in years to come
