Cans goal was super easy. You see how long the ball was in the air for. Even Rooney managed to score one of them
If I'm not mistaken, the press lavished much praise on Shrek's shanked goal and voted it goal of the year, decade and century.....The same media that will probably vote for Miki's offside goal.....just saying
I'd just like to comment here
1. Cans is not goal of season imo
2. It was good but not all that.
3. talk of lucky hits like mkhitaryans or girouds are all fine but what about poor andy carroll v palace... surely that goal is even better than cans...
so lets not get all carried away with bias here.

You may as well say that Rooney 's pen was goal of the season, as that was down to official incompetence too.
My ratngs:
Migs 7 really pleased that he's now coming for crossed. Some big dudes play for Watford and he stood up them.
Clyne 6 so so. Limp crosses from good opportunities.
Milner 6 even worse crosses than Clyne with his left foot.
Loren 7.5 Had Deeney on toast.

Matip 7 superb pass for Origi
Lucas 7 dickheaded booking.
Can 8.5 As good as he was bad against Palace. Go on then, another season to see if the undoubted talent can overcome the inconsistency.
Windy 6 busy doing nothing again

Ford: n.a. I saw that as a Watford player raked his studs across his thigh . Admittedly I watched it on a screen in a bar. Mail said it was a knee. Looked at least a booking to me.
Origi 5 lots of running, but really should have the quality to kill the game off with the chance he had.
Subs
Lallana 8 unlucky with effort that hit the bar. He is a number 10 and it helped him replacing Ford. Great comeback.
Studge: 6 in 10 minutes he caused mayhem and was unlucky to see one effort well saved. Really should have passed near the end though - I was ready to crucify him had Watford equalised.
Klopp 7 does what he can with the squad that's left.
Team: 7 job done, 3 points, etc. Really should have buried it in the second half though and improved our GD. That will be vital I feel between us and City, if not for 3rd or 4th, but even for just squeaking in top four.
