I really don't care much about any of them. I want us to win any game we're involved in, so that would include them -but only for pride. As trophies they're just meaningless imo - nothing more than show-piece games.
Besides, extra games in December? Really, no thanks.
I understand most of the other views just dont agree
I am not sure but the dec thing doesnt make a massive difference as the games get rearranged dont they? As opposed to squished into dec.
The qatar thing is a niggle but last time we went was somewhere in japan wasnt it?

It’s a commercial event. It’s not that valuable from an appearance fee perspective but the club will have a world platform and gain new fans. We’ll need two cities to show off our trophies next year
Seriously though, I totally agree with you. Extra games will be tough. It was in December/January when we started to lose players to injury this season....so much so, we couldn’t put out a decent team against Wolves in the FA Cup. I’d much rather add strength in depth and focus on the domestic trophies.
we will still play as many games in Dec but will now add more in new year. Just think how packed the schedule will get if we actually win a domestic cup game.

I think Trent is underrated defensively. He’s not far off Robbo’s level.
But going forward, Trent is better. Truly special talent
They are what they are.... ther job isnt just block corsses like ye olden days. they are crucial to our system.
Pep wants midfielder type full backs as he pushes wide men very wide. he wants midfielders joining box and scoring so full backs sit narrower.
We want one cm and 3 forwards in box and full backs supplying width and crosses.
Its really a different emphasis on the style of player being used but both men in the end will have 4/5 men behind ball for the counter.
i agree, i prefer our style though, city have better players esp midfield obviously, but they don't have taa or robertson which is the key for me.
City do an awful lot of dancing around wide and passing about but sides equally don't set up to hurt them at all. you do in the end have out ball areas to play to with city but sides rarely do.
I don't think he's poor defensively, clearly ge isn't, but he's certainly got room for improvement. At just twenty years of age, that's expected too. I just don't agree with him being tbe best in the world at this moment in time.
