It may be something we have to get used to, we can give the opposition the ball for most of the match, it doesn't matter, when we do have the ball we will score.

Would have been totally different if we hadn’t scored after 2 mins. We then just sat back knowing it was up to spurs to break us down and we could just hit them on counter

To be honest the ref had very little to do. As it was two English sides there was non of the theatricals you get with European sides and it was a clean game
I don't think it mattered. If you watch the great teams they have are confident they will win. 1 nil down 1 nil up doesn't matter. They know the moment will come. We are now in the echelons of the great teams.
Tonight was a piss poor game (I think most would agree that), the three week break did neither team any good and the fact that I can only remember about two tackles in the whole game just helps confirm that.
What tonight did help to reinforce is the opinion (mine as well as many others) that your two full backs are by far the best crossers of the ball in the PL, possibly Europe.
With a true striker option in tight games you would be devastating.
