That didn't look too clever from Dubravka. The CBs have been excellent so far. Dummett in particular has been class.
We play anti football and lose every time. We play positive and we get results. You can’t just setup for a draw and expect anything else. Their defenders are having a cup of tea at the half way line. I expect to lose but this is ****ing ****.
Atsu has jogged about like a prick. Not even tried to chase or play. This is push to watch. What a sorry state of play football is in right now.
He's not a defender and he was caught miles out of position in the 27th minute when Salah had his shot charged down by Lejeune. Going forward he's not that great either.
Why does Lascelles come across and leave Salah unmarked for their goal? Bit of an error from the skipper there.
Unfortunately they are just quicker and more skilful than us. We can't get anything going in attack. I don't know who could come on to change anything.
The gulf in class is too much. We made them look a little disjointed at the start but they’re more than comfortable now. I do think we should get at them more. Their defence isn’t that strong and we could get at them. Perhaps too late now and damage limitation is key. I feel goal difference could be important this season.
