Also, I like Origi and I'm sure he'll become a good player. But we have no presence up top. Defenders are finding it easy. Need someone to occupy one or two defended help create space

Liverpool lacking a creative spark. No-one is trying to grab hold of the game.

There isn't enough movement in front of the ball and when there is the creative players either aren't spotting it or are failing to make the pass.

Southampton looking like they can cause trouble on the break and also from set pieces.

It could go either way. I'm thinking there will be goals in the second half though.

Bring on Firmino and/or Benteke on at HT and shoot Coutinho out of a cannon

Only caught the last 15 minutes, and same as the last couple of games it seems? No desire. No identity.

The work rate of players is good though - working very hard to get the ball back.

  10. Harsh. There is desire and tgey are working hard, were simply not good enough and find it hard to score.

There's danger in that. He can be crap until the 85th minute then suddenly remember how to score.

What's going on with coutinho? Recently when I've watched you guys he just seems a bit average. A shadow of how he has played for you previously.

Benteke on, watch us send low balls into the box now after high crosses when he was on the bench

Personally, I think it's a number of things:

    - poorer players around him
    - now the talisman so teams marking him out of the game
    - finding the right position for him

And then there's the standard - out of form.

Apparently its because he doesnt have brilliant players around him but has Lallana and co who act like Kryptonite to his superfootball powers....

    • Benteke done more in 2 mins.

By running and putting in effort creating chances that Olazi wouldn't have.

And I don't think the Barca rumours have helped his head.

    Hence the question mark <ok>

The 15 minutes I caught looked very poor tbh. Just been to watch Jumpers for Goalposts with the Mrs (nm)!

Agreed - imagine playing alongside SAS and Sterling one minute, and going to Benteke, Lallana and Milner the next.

    Very similar quality players ...
