My daughter only missed two weeks of action for a broken rib. Depends on which rib and how bad I suppose though.
Tough games in the league to come after them we know how far we have improved 29th September .Away to Chelsea. 7th October home to Manchester city. Well done to our boys anyway.
No. I won't be able to watch Question Time next week. ReesCunt is on and I may wekk put my foot through the box
the problem is there is no alternative as Labour and Corbyn are seen as utterly implausible in enough places to make them unelectable. reminds me of labour preblair
Just watched the highlights and even prior to the goal salah looked happier Wish that back heel had come off Not saying anything about his performance but he seemed buoyant Which is good, we need happy players and focused Another day he scores more than one in that match good that he is getting in the positions
My view on Salah yesterday was that he looked sharper than he has so far this season and as MITO said there seemed a better interchange in the forward line but with the proviso much of that interplay involved Shaqiri.
There was more space for the forwards than there was against PSG and so that probably reduced the sense of frustration. I don't think there has been any question over Salah's commitment, it's just that it hasn't been quite working for him as much as we all (including him, probably) hoped for. Far too much was made of the water-bottle incident when that can easily be explained as the release of pent-up frustration. I'm sure we've all done similar things.
Yup . How many times as fans when a winner goes in in a tense situation is the celebration an aggressive growl or roar as opposed to a yippidedee and dance... Front 3 looked much more relaxed yesterday... it'll all come off sooner than later .... the fact they keep trying all the flicks and trucks suggests they are all happy campers
Got to say, for all the money spent over last few years, Andy Robertson for 8m is one of the best pieces of business in recent years. Been a consistent 8/10 every game for about a year now.. Great delivery, tenacious, quick, great positioning and gets up and down efficiently. Cracking player, best LB we've had since I've been watching football. Big props to whoever was responsible for scouting him.
It is Labour pre-Blair, yet somehow we are supposed to believe Labour is electable. Unfortunately it does not matter how crap the Tories are people would rather have them back as opposed to pre-Blair Labour. I have said before the worst thing that happened to Labour was John Smith dying so suddenly. It allowed Blair, controlled by Murdoch and the rest of the establishment, to invent "New Labour", basically the Tories but with no monetary skills. They then blew all the money in the bank when they took over, overused PFI to cripple councils with massive interest payments for years, and then destroyed private pensions which would have given the average working man in a company scheme at least a chance of a half decent retirement. The current Tories are a bunch of sh*ts, but at least we all know that. Corbyn's Labour is just idealistic sixth form politics were the state will control everything, because the people are not to be trusted. If they ever got to power it would be a live action version of "Animal Farm". There is a massive void for the middle ground of British politics and I would not be surprised if moderate Labour MP's broke away to form a new party. When a political party is trying to deselect the likes of Frank Field, one of the more sensible MP's from any party, the lunatics have taken over the asylum. Anyway after that rant I am off to paint the staircase as the carpet fitters managed to bugger up my recent paintwork when fitting a carpet
had decorators in couple of weeks ago and already the wife has managed to spill a load of coffee down the wall in the front room when trying to use a door handle whilst holding a mug
Full of smiles yesterday..........3 in 6.............................nothing to see here folks....................
I disagree. Our attack has match winners in Salah and Mane to carry that burden, and Sturridge is quality on the ball. VVD is our star defender - without him, we’re relying on a young Gomez (has been excellent alongside VVD), injury prone Matip and error prone Lovren. VVD brings leadership and calmness to our back line. He’s a colossus. Arguably the best signing this club has made in recent history.
