Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius has undergone a scan in the United States with the Reds concerned he suffered a head trauma during the Champions League final defeat to Real Madrid. Echo
I wasn't sure whether to make a snide comment or express sympathy. I do genuinely wish him the best, don't wish injury on anyone... ... But that is tempting a joke
Confirmation from Massachusetts General Hospital that Loris Karius sufferer concussion during the CL Final massgeneral.org/News/newsartic…
Questions have to be asked of our medical team. Someone messed up there Questions have to be asked of the officials too, they should be protecting players and booking the offenders. Ramos got away with a lot in that game
A (predictive) system will soon be available in Rugby Union that would have detected the concussion in real (no pun intended) time meaning that the Player could have been replaced ....
it's bullshit and is purely ego. They can't even leave it til preseason to just talk about why karius is still there. seems they can't even leave it as tbf.. we've all.moved on. it's the whiner himself who hasn't
Football is far behind some other sports in the recognition, study and establishing a protocol for concussions.

This should have been kept quiet, it does no good for this to be all over the media it just looks like excuses.
If it required advanced study and video analysis then I'm sure I was similarly confused sneezing last night. Utter rubbish.
This was also my initial response.... The only other person who doesn’t come out of this too well and may be more of a spot light on him is Ramos himself - if this does nothing else but that, it’s worth the cringiness!
Karius didn’t ask to be tested nor did he release the results of this diagnosis - a diagnosis done at the worlds leading brain trauma hospital. Whether or not you think he should be upgraded is irrelevant - concussion in sport is serious and the effects/symptoms may not be felt until a few days/weeks after the initial constant.
It's his medical information I doubt they could release it without his permission. Nobody saying it's not serious. Personally I think they should just keep quiet about it.
I doubt he will be sold this summer so we will need to rely on him next year either as a back up or starting keeper. So we need him to be mentally on it and his confidence restored.
