Well since I'm on self imposed house arrest on Saturday I'm going to BBQ.

Going to do:

Beef Short Rib... don't have a smoker so will have to be mostly done in the oven. Have found plenty of decent sounding dry rubs but I'm not a great fan of very sweet bbq sauces...anyone any suggestions for alternatives?

Also going to do Greek style pork kebab skewers with tzatziki, dumped into pitta etc.

Some wild boar sausages and grass fed beef burgers.... because we are a gorbs.

Maybe some hot wings too.


Lots of beer sours and normal beer.... maybe copious amounts of gin too.

If I can't go to the pub I will make staying at home worth it <laugh>

Ffs Frank - go to the pub, mate. It won't make any difference to the result.

Mweh.. Will be full of mancs anyway...all slavering in anticipation to give me **** lol. The more Liverpool pub has been strangely empty over the last few months on match days.. and it's further away... don't want to get there and it have no atmosphere ... money wasted on taxis and risking the jinx!

Still be Mancs if my mates come round but I can at least kick them out lol. ...

My TV is better than the pubs too...

I did this last year and it worked well but you need some woodchips and lumpwood charcoal, don't use self light.
