This for me, the guy simply hasnt done enough to be considered a vital part of the squad going forward, this is down to his injury record and nothing to do with talent, as he clearly has that in abundance and but weve only seen it in short bursts so far when he has played. Theres a very good player there, will we ever see him though? Not so far imo.
