Liverpool: Anfield chief executive Peter Moore says Reds 'back on our perch'
Liverpool chief executive Peter Moore says the Reds are "back on our perch" - a phrase famously used by former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson about the Anfield club.

After arriving at Old Trafford in 1986, Ferguson said his first job was to "knock Liverpool right off their perch".

Bit premature, we have to follow our recent success up with more silverware.

Thankfully Klopp and the team don't appear to think in this way.

Reasonable back line, strong midfield, children up front. We are going to get dicked and bring on more children from the bench. Klopp clearly doesn't care for this cup. Can't say I blame him

Don't really care if we lose tbh. These players will eventually need to do a job at some point this season in a more important game either off the bench or due to injuries, so these games are important to see who can be counted on.

Particularly looking forward to seeing Hoever. I have high hopes for him.

Looking forward to seeing these kids in action. Elliot will boss this I'm sure. Glad to see Brewster starting, unsure about the keeper pick tbh don't see why Adrain can't play but ain't gonna cry about it.

Cmon the reds!

I said the other day I wasn't expecting to see any of the big guns - even on the bench.
It's down to the midfield to provide experience here.
And one of the world's best CB's, of course....
Should be fun.

Don't know why he's in the media all of a sudden.
Gonna guess cause he has churned that **** out

literally written all the headlines for any loss of trophy

It’s like a Carl the jackal (?) comment lmao
Actually that’s not fair - Carl’s top :) and just a bit over optimistic for me lmao
