Yeah could be that, as long as we get our tackles in the middle of the park we can win this.
Pogba is the obvious one to target and break up any play from him but Herrera is also a danger and winning the 50/50's against him is important.

They can't cause damage if they've not got the ball; keep possession.

I agree we need to take care of the ball on Sunday, silence the crowd early doors and keep hold of it. This is so much the reverse of the usual game.

Guys remember the size of game and opponents and look at what klopp does.

Who are his go to guys when the chips are down and all are available

The back 5 are obvious, there's no choices there. the front 3 are obvious too.

so who has klopp turned to when the chips were down then?

PSG away: Fabinho on bench. MILNER, HENDERSON WIJNALDUM start
napoli home: guess what... exactly the same
Man city away: oh guess what.... exactly the same

so we are going to man utd away... all 4 are fit... just exactly what do people think klopp is going to do here..... (not what YOU think he should do)

If there were odds possible on the LFc starting 11 I reckon i'd have nailed it here.

    alisson
    Taa Matip VVD Robertson
    Milner henderson windy
    Salah firmino mane

    Fabinho on bench

I disagree, what you say makes sense but since then Fabinho has shown what a good player he is and I don't see him being benched for this one. It would be a mistake if he is imo.

I'm just showing what klopp has done every time.

I'm not saying what klopp should do. you are voicing that.

I would agree with you personally he should start. If there's anyone i'd not pick its windy cos he's really consistent away from home every time. aka anonymous and ****.

    yeah thats it exactly.

He just vanishes, away from home really and is at his best much deeper (as far away from goal as i could get him <laugh>) when we need to keep the ball.

I'd rather Henderson box to box in this game as he would chase pogpoo about all day like a good puppy, a happy bouncy labrador type player.

Milner can be put onto press duties with the front 3 and link with mane, he's a risk as he is inclined to decide he is a winger and just leave the midfeild and stand on a wing while teams run through the other 2.

Its clear for me that the mancs have one big channel of attack. Matip and behind TAA when he is advanced. If we can shut that area down (pogba likes left side CM to fo froward, rashord likes that channel, martial if fit plays left side) then we have a great chance at no worse than a draw.

Our issue is getting salah and mane going and getting the shot on target. My view is its crucial who they play at LB. that will be the deciding of the game as well.

Firmino will be key, he'll need to link up the attack and keep the Utd defenders guessing this will allow Salah and Mane to get some space.

Yeah Lovren is not going to be sharp enough for this and Matip has improved as he's played more games.

They caught Chelsea on the counter and had much less possession, Chelsea didn't get anywhere though for all the build up play they had, so we need to avoid the counter and capitalise when we're in and around their area and take our chances. The whole team will need to be sharp
