Yes i know we'll disagree :). I just wanted to stretch the point to any situation whereby there's danger. No harm done but agreed we're going round in circles. I will however bring this point up should you ever buy a goalie who will exit his area and get injured
If Mignolet had done that I would have been furious with him <ok> Scarred for life while we merrily type away on here ....

You're wrong. I clearly said both players take 50/50 responsibility, which they do. At the end of the day I don't like seeing injuries on the field of play. BOTH players will maybe review what they do following this. I'd rather have a red card than potentially no eye so if I'm the goalie I think very, very hard about how far [literally] I'm prepared to go in the interests of saving a goal versus saving my own health.

They don't though, as one of them got a 3 match ban and the other a trip to casualty

So the simple facts make you completely wrong.

Whilst on the subject of that incident, I thought this was most distasteful. His use of Munich at one point was somewhat confused. Your keeper's dead chant was a nice touch like

Man City plastering social media with pictures of Ederson's bruises is the third worst case of trying to appeal to sympathy for an injury comparable to what most toddlers sustain at playgrounds.

The first two are; Ferguson claiming van Persie could have been killed by a ball that hit his head; Ferguson claiming Nani could have died from an infection to the shin cut that caused him to cry.

Something in the water in Manchester and Salford? :emoticon-0112-wonde

So you were ok with them chanting 'murderers'? Common decency prevents me from going looking for a youtube to back me up though.

And I'm done on this one <ok>

There's nothing I could find to suggest that they did that on Saturday? That's merely a deflection anyway, as that idiots chants / abuse wasn't in retaliation to anything like that.....

So do you decry the vile actions of that so called Liverpool supporter then? Who was obviously proud of all of that hence the reason he posted it on the net.......

Tbh, I wouldn't waste my time watching over 5 minutes of that **** so I'll take your word for it that what was said was vile.
We all have our fair share of twats amongst us, and none of us can claim superiority on that score. Any reasonable fan should distance themselves from that sort of mindless behaviour.

Yep. When it's a £50m+ asset and they can't even be bothered with a precautionary scan at the hospital, that says to me it's the equivalent of "blow on it and it's all better" <ok>

Or are you accusing Man City and the paramedics of failing in their duty of care?

its his own fault for painting a target on himself to aim at..

as usual our forwards missed the target.

I had no idea mane boots were that big.

However being serious the person who did that stitching should be ashamed of thier work.

I agree. I thought that one was bizarre as he actually chose to post his own idiocy.

Just shows how ****ing thick they are, like yobs posting videos of themselves committing (minor) crimes. Obviously seen as a clever thing amongst their peers.

following on from the Mane red card discussion here is my rant on a similar problem which nearly always goes unpunished.
When will the football authorities start taking seriously the dangers of the deliberate "tipping" of players when they are airborne. It seems an accepted practice when the ball is in the air ,particularly from long balls from defence, for attacking players to look at the approaching defender ,and the once he jumps, then back into him whilst bending over therefore tipping them forwards so they drop to the ground.
Sooner or later a player is going to land on their head or neck with catastrophic consequences * and yet football ,unlike Rugby, seems unconcerned since the normal "punishment" is a free kick if you're lucky.

* spinal cord injuries are very unpredictable and are often a matter of "luck" regarding how much damage is done by the what appear to be identical incidents.

Agreed that is dangerous. I think its hard to spot though as half the times the defender is climbing all over the striker and sometimes tips themselves to make sure they win the header.
