The referee was cautious not to spoil the game by awarding penalties. Best game of the season so far.

No what's boring is your selective memory.

You said what challenge just because it wasn't highlighted and I've given you a perfect example of they show what they want.

seen guys sent off for a lot less.

Also.... ref let can have about what 5? fouls first half and can exploited it a lot. firmino did one which wasn't even dangerous and he booked him for it.. why... cos he needed a yellow on the book but booking a striker is the easy way to do it.

I really don't like that ref.

The Milner foul on Sterling was stonewall, he kicked his foot as he's about to slot into an empty net.

If sterling had have gone with his left form 2 yards out to tap in sure it was a goal but as it stood milner only help him not completely fresh air it as is his wont :)

but yeah I'd have given it.

agreed but it wasn't easy to see exactly wht happened at the time hence i disagreed with your "obvious" penalty post. In my view the pull by Klavan on Aguero in the same incident is the one i thought the officials shouldn't have missed as that was easier to view clearly what had occurred

Think you mean the one on Wijnaldum mate. Was more of a penalty than the Mane one

Saw the game on a foreign feed and haven't seen MOTD so I've no idea what any of the s0-called experts have said.
    So...
Good game, really entertaining though nerve-racking.
We could, and should have won - Lallana, FFS.
After an early and entirely unnecessary pull-back that might have earned him a card, Can grew into the game and it was one of the best performances I've seen from him. If he keeps it up, he might just earn the rise he's been after.
    Lallana, FFS
Why did the City players continue to harangue Oliver for about 5 minutes after the penalty? Why doesn't he punish them?
    Lallana, FFS.
Those criticising the defenders for Aguero's goal are just indulging in their tried and tested prejudices, imo. It's not like he hasn't done it often enough against almost everyone else.
    Lallana, FFS
Anyway, we've no more hard teams to play now until the end of the season,:emoticon-0172-mooni so we need to sort out this Jekyll and Hyde thing and play the same way against the rest.
Oh, and did I mention - Lallana, FFS?

For any team to win the game, it will be too harsh on the loser. A draw was a fair result.

Not a bad result by any means.

Still think the team is a bit puney and girly.

I think the derby game will be to close to call. It could well depend on which team picks up the least injuries during the crappy internationals.

Best game of the season, engineered to a large extent by the ref.

He spent a large part of the match trying to make up for his mistakes and making sure that they did not affect the ultimate result. If a tackle is a red or a pen, then they should be given. Never mind "spoiling the match" by having ten v/s 11. That is not his problem.
