Don't think the 'pundits' understand the new red card rule for penalties. It's only s red if you don't make an effort to try win the ball. Milner slides in and is about half an inch from touching it (probs lucky e didn't or it would have been an OG)

Even if we factor in the inevitability of the lower league cock ups :)

I remember Skrtel a few years back at WBA. A player simply ran around him just as he went to kick ball, and he ended up giving a pen away as he kicked (accidentally) the player's calf. All the pundits and papers were adamant that it's a pen as he never kicked the ball. Spurs got away with one too today.

Whilst he got many decisions wrong its tough for them. They only have one view of the game whilst we have like 30 cameras to assess the situation. In the end fair game to the ref

I agree it is amazingly tough but they keep rebuffing the idea of help and Oliver and Taylor regularly lose control of games. Too many for it to be coincidence. No air of authority.
Not picking on utd as a lot of clubs do this but it the most recent, but whoever was the ref with the six Utd players surrounding them should have yellow carded like a Tarantino film death sequence!!!
Refs are still scared to make the wrong decision which usually leads to them making an even bigger cock up.

He was deffo right for our pen, no matter what drivel Chuckle says about getting a touch (at least Quinn and co didn't argue that one), and how the hell Toure got away with that practical kick in the Can's chest... And of course, Fernandinho - ****ing hell, was that foul not in double figures in the end? But Milner's was a pen (ludicrous to say he isn't going for the ball though), and Can was daft to pull someone back, albeit 70 yards from goal. Oh, and how does Toure, on a yellow, gey way with dragging the ref's arm? What happened to that automatic booking malarkey for manhandling the ref?

The top six mini league doesn't favour United (or Arsenal) so far...

Citeh vs Arsenal next up. I hope Everton come and play football as we can wipe the floor with them.

If Henderson is fit, do we drop Can he was brilliant driving the team forward. Can needs to have a word with Fernandino. How to get away with fouling season 50.

Not really. Depends on how they do with their matches in hand.

Having said that, the Mancs are rubbish against any top 6 sides and they have a few of those games.

My only issue with the ref was how he let Fernandinho get away with 7 fouls without booking him. No issue with the pens. As you say only 1 view. The fouls he actually gave the fouls so saw them all but let the guy off. Herrera got booked for consistent team fouling in united game against Chelsea last week yet Fernandinho managed 7 on his own.

City committed 14 fouls and got 3 yellows (one for silva complaining about the pen). We committed 7 and got 3 yellows.

It's a skill to get away with these small niggly fouls. It is a part within our game that has been lacking and you only need to see how Friaser and Burnely got a free pass in our away losses.

Also the Toure yellow was only to protect against a retrospective red card

Matip's yellow was an Aguero dive and Firmino's yellow was for winning the ball

He didn't get away with them though. Ref saw everyone and gave a free kick for everyone. Went into back of Milner and Cout in first half. Kicked out at Can in 2nd. They weren't subtle.
