We havent lost our sense of humour then. The Richardson sub baffled me. Kostas played at villa so hopefully we might see him play against West Brom. Him in the first half and Bent in the second, who I thought was great for 60 minutes but ran out of steam.
Fair play to you guys.. Gave us a hard time in the first half, we were poor but that's not to take away from your first half performance, lucky to be level at half time. Second half, we were the better team, you were restricted to hitting us on the break (which you did well when you could), your goal came against the run of play but I liked the fact that we didn't panic and continued to play our football. Happy to take a win, neutrals would say it was harsh on you lot not to get anything out of the game esp. after your first half efforts (I would agree) but its a cruel world, you don't always get what you deserve. Happy to win whilst not firing on all cylinders and as its already been said, these sort of wins do more for our confidence/belief than the win (and manner of) against the likes of Spurs, Everton and Arsenal. Best of luck for the rest of the season lads, hope you guys stay up
Agree with you and SuperBri on this one, Cravung. Thought Rene was tactically naive. Kaca for Richardson was simply a straight swop and not a very sensible one. If he wanted to change things, the L'pool left back (Toure?) was not awfully good yet hardly got pressed, so why not brimg on Cole to have a go at him. Agree with Surly about Bent as well. PS I was amazed during the warm up to see how tiny Larnel Cole is - he hardly came up to Hangeland's waist. Our 'Pocket Battleship' maybe?

He reminds me of that dude who splits his kecks bending down to take a penalty in that "Eh, Fatty Bum Bum" advert.
