I’m assuming tsimikas is available after corona? Be good to see him and jota make their debuts. Also good seeing the young and fringe players but a bit of experience alongside to help see them through. Not sure what would do at CB with injuries. This is the time to get silver ware in the cabinet. Last season the team was temporarily hailed as the best team in the history of the premiership. On course for a record total of wins and points. And the perfect record at home as well. Then it all fell away and the records were missed. The history books will record a title win with the second best points haul and that's it. That team IMO our best ever deserved far more recognition and had the opportunity to lift at least one other trophy. But ,although I understand his reasons, Klopp was far too cautious in conserving his top players for the league. More of them could have played in the league and FA cups as the title was in the bag by New Year.
Me too - like it was yesterday Much as I love what Klopp and the current team are doing, when they have dominated English and European football for a decade or more they can then lay claim to being the best ever.
With these games, im not massively arsed if we win or lose. What bothers me is the attitude of the players. If your second string, with aspirations of pushing on then I'd hope they would put the effort in. Same if your a youngster looking to impress. What brings my piss to a boil is the likes of divock wandering around the pitch, not giving a ****, like he's to good to be playing in this sort of competition.
yeah that was my guess as ell but hope we put out a pretty strong(ish) other 9 as think we do have better squad depth than in some previous years . well until Wilson , Origi , Shaqiri , Brewster are flogged we have .
