I don't think I showed it enough but I am incredibly buzzing over that win and performance. We just spanked a tough team with half of our first team out (Leic also had their fair share of players injured as well tbf). 3-0 flattered them. We should have score 2-3 more. Leicester were in great form and have been beating some big teams.
it was good wasn't it I was really impressed with the whole performance ,plus attitude ,and how we adapted to the changes to the team with no drop in performance .
Have to say downing a bottle 14% Sangiovese Appasimento probably helped with my feeling of "contentment" by the end of the game
You only have to look at how many stories or rumours you hear about players on the fringes at lfc to understand how good a man manager he is. Lallana only has praise for him. You don’t hear anything from origi or Shaq who are often out of the squad and can’t be that happy. Obviously helps when winning but that good squad morale helps with results which in turn feeds the morale etc conpare that to united and the constant stories of pogba, van beek complaining about not playing after being at club for 2 months. Romero and wife complaining over social media..
klopps aura of excellence lends him a lot of respect. then add in he treats them like adults and tells them like it is. then finally add in hes meant to be very scary if you get on the wrong side and you won't last long near the squad if you do. imo agent ole has none of the above. no player really respects him. they all see him as just a temporary team picker. add in he hasn't been that honest with players according to sources. and round it off with the fact that they all know they can try it on and get away with it its hardly shocking.
Good point, and to perfectly demonstrate Citys lack of shape at times look at Lo Celsos' goal at the weekend. He breaks in the left channel and is fed by Kane. Kyle Walker is awol and its left to De Bruyne to track back but pace isn't one of his attributes and its 2-0.........game over.
We have played Chelsea, Manchester City, Everton ,Arsenal and Leicester Pretenders or contenders Spurs have played Manchester United, Manchester City, Everton Pretenders or contenders.
Fixed Its always the same in the early part of the season, Some teams do well for a few games and find themselves on top or near the top. So far this season Everton, Villa, Soton and now Spurs have found themselves being lauded for finding themselves around the top all in the space of a couple of months. Fact is we're less than 10 games into the season, no point talking about title chances for any club until end of January at the earliest. It does however feel that we're being played down by the pundits this season, yet imo there is only 1 game (Villa) where the result has been a real surprise. The draws away at Citeh and Everton are probably par for the course. It is of course along way to the end of the season and saying we'll retain the title this early would be foolish, but we are 2nd and only being kept off the top spot on GD.
